Hi, I’m Elese. Welcome to our Babywearing Wairarapa page!

When my handsome husband and I were blessed with beautiful twin girls in early 2016, I quickly discovered how handy tandem wearing our girls was. As our girls grew, my appreciation for babywearing grew. By late 2017 our family had grown to include another set of twin girls and our baby wearing stash expanded even more! I discovered that I am a woven wrapper at heart and I love wrapping my girls. I love the freedom and extra snuggles that baby wearing brings us.

I reach for my Woven wraps most often, followed Meh Dai’s and Buckle carriers and in a pinch I will use Ring Slings.

I am a coffee lover, a geek who watches far to many tv shows and I proudly drive a minivan with my circus because sliding doors are life.

Who are we?

Hi guys I’m Tarsha Clarke, one of the newest committee members of Babywearing Wairarapa. I am married and mother to three children (9,7 and 1) and run my own business providing Home-based Childcare.
I have baby worn since my eldest was little however have only in the last couple of years really expanded my knowledge on ‘safer’ BW practises. After my youngest was born I invested in a stretchy wrap and I really got into regular wearing of my son and other children I care for. I now have a stash consisting of a stretchy wrap, A custom Dr Who Mei Tai and a Manduca.
I have just discovered tandem wearing and am really enjoying myself with that.
I am always there to assist friends and family on BW options and really enjoy sharing my knowledge with others.
